I have 2 Holley List 4053 carbs offered for sale.
First one is an assembly-line correct unit dated '924' or 4th week of February 1969, to suit a '69 Z/28. Has the correct metering blocks 4519 and 5583.
It has been restored and rebuilt by Eric Jackson, whose workmanship needs no introduction on this site. Carb is still in the box Eric shipped it to me in, was test run and then drained of fuel before mailing.
Second one is a service replacement unit dated '2288' or 228th day of a year ending in '8'. Could be 1978, 1988 etc. It is complete and was on a runner when I bought it, but has sat a few years now so would suggest as a minimum it would need a kit put through it to replace gaskets, filters etc.
Differences from the assembly-line correct 3-digit dated units include the thicker base plate and a straight nipple vacuum pull-off can. This carb has correct metering blocks 4519 and 5583 and both also have the list number 4053 on them.
Asking US1500.00 shipped for the 924 and US550.00 shipped for the 2288, with payment via PayPal F&F please.
Full disclosure, the 924's choke tower had been neatly drilled for squirter holes by a former owner; these were welded up as part of Eric's restoration but the repair area can still be seen, refer to before and after pictures below.
