Hi all...
I just wanted to put a quick thank you out to everyone who wished my Dad well earlier this year. As you know, he did pass on 6/2 at 4:27pm (coincidence...?).
Tonight is the first night I came onto this site, not knowing what kind of emotions it would bring. While it brings tears to my eyes to read of his well wishes from you all, it also made me proud seeing how much he had touched others lives through this forum. He truly was One of a Kind...
I hope to be more active on this forum and talk to you all and talk stories about Dad and Ol' Yeller.
Cheers- JerseyJeff Jr.

Jeff, tell us about the 5th gen Yellow ZL1. I vaguely recall when your Dad was buying it years ago. Gotta love that matching color!
My son just bought a 2014 Camaro (6cyl) and he keeps bugging me to buy a companion ZL1 for it. Which of course he would immediately steal from me. LOL

Welcome to the group Jeff. I'm sure I speak for many here when I tell you that we'd all like to see you stopping in to post and share in the journey here. You dad was a great guy and a lot of fun and I'm sure you could continue here in his memory. I still remember him posting a video on one of the Day 2 Facebook pages with you firing up the 69 car.
Glad to see you posting here. :youguysrock:

Jeff, welcome to the forum. Your dad was a great guy and you will fill his shoes perfectly. He brought a lot to the site and even more to Facebook with his antics so carry on young man. Your dad was one in a million, got along with everyone and was a close and dear internet friend. Thanks to him I got cold and wet when he nominated me for the ice bucket challenge. Good times for sure. When it comes to his cars he always invited me out to Jersey and promised me the keys to take one for a ride. Though my passion was for the SS427 Impala, the Yellow 69 just pushed all the right buttons. What a magnificent car and one you should all be proud of. Hang around, open a beer and sit around the camp fire with all of us. You will be more than welcome and if I know Jeff Sr, he will be right there with us.

Jeff Jr. shared that he made a bit of a "smoke show" in his parents driveway. Jeff senior was smiling down at the fun3gears.gif

Jeff, This car pushes all the right buttons for me, right stance, right equipment, everything is perfect. I fell in love with this car the first time I saw and it's still one of my favorites. The perfect '69!
Welcome Jeff . The 69 always attracted attention wherever we showed up . Our ramp truck made it fun to travel to races also. A fully loaded big block with A/C and a sleeper.

Your dad was a great guy. I commented on a street burnout picture of the '69 he posted and he sent me an enlargement of the photo that hangs in my garage to this day.
