Formerly part of the Jim Krughoff collection. I'm sure Bill S. has some more background on this one. I recall being in Jim's hangar/garage back in the day helping Bob Z. prep a car for the Special Collection and seeing this and all of the other low mile cars he had including the 12 mile 67 L88 at the time. Definitely Corvette nirvana for a young kid at the time (me). Seems like just yesterday but that was probably 30+ years ago.....

----I'm proud to say that you are looking at the greatest find I ever had. I bought this magnificent 65 fuel car from the original owner. As I could not afford it I had to involve my future boss at Classic Motors in Hinsdale Ill. to put the deal together. It was actually a pretty clean deal, other than he made us buy everything Corvette oriented that he owned and wouldn't let me start it. He had bought a new fuel car car every year from 57 onward and sometimes two or three a year so there were a lot of spares and take off parts. He had a dealers license but really wasn't a dealership, but a farm implement dealer, and ran a lumber yard. Brings back a bunch of good memories!.....Bill S
