i assume the 10E is a very late build car? Is that a true assumption?

Wouldn't a 10E '69 car be a 5th week October '68 build? It would be a kinda early car.

Didn't X codes start showing up on 12B (second week of December) built cars?

The Xnn codes were a mid-1969 model addition to the Fisher Body cowl tags of Norwood-built Camaros, starting with the 12B (second week of December) build week.

The build for the 1969 Camaro was extended from July 1969 to November 1969, because the 1970 Camaro was not ready for release.

It is a late car. Is the tag legit? The rubbing of the rivets has me a little concerned but the tag shows no sign of being off the car other than that.

That one looks legit from what I see. Dont like to see them sanded like this though.
Its an Oct 1969 build.

The tag looks good to me as mine is a 10E car as well. What is interesting to me is that you are located in Tennessee and I suspect my car came out of Murfreesboro. I have yet to get the NCRS report to confirm.
