If you're looking to do an AMC project, you're going to be miles ahead starting with a solid west coast car, since these were so prone to rusting. This car clearly spent its life in a dry climate, and it even has an old UCLA sticker in the rear window to back it up....

The engine compartment is amazingly well preserved. Down side is the base engine. Upside is the 4 speed and A/C. Also AM/FM. This looks like it could be a nice driver when done.
