Interesting '60 Impala 348/3-sp Stick Convertible

Neat options on this car. These seem to have increased dramatically in value over the past year...there was a 'barn find' version of this car with a 283 that crested $40k, which is just incredible.

Were those faux exhaust ports on the lower rear quarters offered in '60? First time I have noticed them.

Only the one pic of the engine and I was trying to follow where the center fuel line fed the other 2 and can't see anything either.

I don't know if the exhaust outlets are correct for this year, but they look silly with the chrome exhaust tips hanging down almost under them...:rolleyes2:

Seems like some "Artistic license" with this one.

This beautiful '58 had one on each side at a local show years ago too.
