'68 AMX, Orig Hertz Rent-A-Car

Pretty interesting seeing an AMX having been invoiced to Hertz. I didn't realize they offered sports cars (with the exception of the GT350) back in the day....

Neat car. If the 1 picture showing a white AMX is the same car, I'd go back to white.

I don't know these cars but I am perplexed about the 343 emblem on the quarter and the 390 sticker on the air cleaner. Am I missing something? Beautiful car!

Ad description notes both points, originally a White 343 car w/ 390 Air Cleaner Decal.
White would be awesome w/ the Red guts but what racing was the Auto Trans for?:hmmm:
