Looks like a nice car in a desirable color (Targa Blue). Curious if it will sell near the $69,500 number - recent sales of C3 LT-1 cars seem to be climbing in value.

Last solid lifter Chevy....pretty cool.

How did these engines run with the lower compression and the solid cam...I always thought those cams required a certain amount of compression to perform properly??

I know they did the same thing with 71 LS-6 big block...interested to learn more.

----Nice LT1! With the exception of power windows it has all the right toys. Deluxe interior really helps toward that $69,000 fugure and of course the AC! I can see that price realized, although I would like it a lot better in the mid 50's.....Bill S

Compression isn't a factor for the solid lifters. The main reason for them was the higher rpm. Hydraulics of the day would pump up at that rpm and hold the valve open/bend a push rod, or just collapse, if the oil didn't keep up.

With the AC, did that remove the deep groove pulleys elsewhere? The redline was lowered so perhaps it did.

NCRS documentation, quality restoration. I have a problem with the chrome under the hood, they were never that shiny from the factory.
