Hey Tony, this is the 35th Anniversary car I told you about I bought from my next door neighbor. It had 4,500 miles on it and is factory stock except the battery. It’s what I call the base SLP optioned car. It doesn’t have the good suspension and rear end but I enjoy driving it and it’s a fun car.

SLP’s cold air intake works really well. I have it on my 99.

Thanks guys, there’s something about it I don’t understand. Now I’m not a young guy anymore and don’t want to get hurt in a car but when I open it up and it hits second gear hard the tires will break loose and it goes hard left. I lift because it scares me.
Is there some way to adjust the rear suspension to stop this. I’m not going to race this car but I like to open one up now and then.

Stick shift?
It's a 12.9-13.1 car that will kick out on hard tires.
I had a few 4th gens.

A set of stock size soft compound Nitto radials will help prevent that and still allow comfortable street manners.

They are fun cars. My ws6 Trans Am gets with the program. It is hard to get in and out of with my back issues and rides like a truck but it runs good, has a good stereo and AC!

I used to just steer into it gently without lifting, then hammer it when it straightened out.
Fun times when I had a 4 speed.
