Pair of early design traction bars, something like I had on my first 57 Chevy years ago. Owner is fishing, even suggests they may be for a Chevelle. Chevy II in crayon marked on one of them, but thought someone might be able to identify them by sight.

Nova/chevy II those look like the Bill Thomas/Nickey traction bars. I know the Bill Thomas where painted blue.
Very cool pieces

With both shock mounts forward of the axle, wouldn't that indicate '67 F body ?
Did any Mopar/Ford leaf spring cars use that arrangement too ?
Trying to "imagineer" a way to bolt them on a Chevelle...:hmmm:

I concur they look to be '67 F-body Bill Thomas traction bars. The color should be like the Pontiac silver-blue engine color. I have a set of these but the front bracket is not as far forward.

Yes, they look like 1967 First Gen Camaro NicKey / Bill Thomas traction bars.

Did you buy them ? They are sold. Heck after learning they were connected to NicKey, if you didn't want them, I was going to buy them.

Whoever it was that bought them, no need to be shy. Be proud of making a good score buying them. I'm a parts swap type of guy. If I didn't want them to be bought or used or just plain hoarded, I wouldn't have mentioned them, because they'd be taking up space in my basement, with me wondering how I ever did without them.

The listing was for $189, but it looks like a lower price offer was accepted.

As sad as it is I did not get them. I had an offer but he accepted the $175. I should have just hit the buy it now. they were a steal sometimes I am just too cheap.

I’m starting to think Bill Thomas used the same color paint on these as they did on their 67 factory headers.

So how does a person go about getting a set of those NicKey bars from GSS shown in Stefanos link ? I don't see anything about them on their web page.

My Bill Thomas traction bars have the front bracket moved back slightly which is how they were in the 1970-1/2 catalog. I don't know what exact year the change occurred.
