Yesterday I thought I'd check Russo & Steele's website to see if they had anything of interest coming up at auction here in AZ next month. Apparently they are no longer in the car auction business, as there's nothing at all about auctions on their website, just doing private sales of a few collector cars. If this is old news, I guess I missed it.

Lots of rumors (some may be facts) swirling around regarding R&S. The largest hurdle now is there is no venue available to house an R&S auction in the valley during auction week.

That's very bizarre.....if you just go to russoandsteele.com there is no mention of, and no links to, anything about Scottsdale 2022 or any other auction :hmmm:

Guess they better remove the large pile of fill dirt at that venue.

Maybe they plan on using the large pile of fill dirt as an elevated stage.

The link goes to the Monterey 2021 auction. No Scottsdale 2022 consignments.

Follow the link RPO LS7 posted and click on the cars and it takes you you to a page for Monterey 2021...:hmmm:
Other than the date, there doesn't seem to be anything else relating to this event.

No mention of R&S in Sports Car Market’s Guide to the Arizona Auctions, which is where I first got a sense things had gone dormant.

I didn't know that was out yet, I'll have to pick one up, thanks.

There's still time. Get enough front end loaders, backhoes and trucks and they can move a mountain of dirt in a few weeks...
Dragged this around for 20 years. I couldn't begin to guess how many 10's of thousands of yards I moved. Wore out the original floor and then 2, 1/2" thick liners in that time.
