That is Neat, will there be a auction?
Looks like a building I was in about 20 years ago in Chickasha, OK. The owner (John S) was a really nice guy. Questionable past. Had tons of big block parts as well as Z/28 stuff. Distributors, carbs, etc.
Younger than me, so I wouldn't expect him to have passed, but you never know. Just checked the court dockets for Oklahoma and Grady County and don't see anything on him. But, may not be in the court system. Smart folks put their stuff in trust, so it doesn't go through the court system when they die.
He wanted to sell me a COPO, but the engine was out of a Corvette. His dad had told him it was original, and he wanted "born with" type money, so it was a no go.

Is that Steve C. In Gore Oklahoma? I purchased a Chevelle from him in 2018. He passed away late last year.

Sorry on your friend's passing. From his collection, he looks to have been a real deal car guy.

There is a great video of this collection but I can't find it now. I'm sure others will know it. I believe it profiled a Shelby or Boss 429 that was purchased... I'm going back a couple years and can't recall all details

Steve, was a great guy. Loved farming and his cars. Heartbeat bought the majority but there was another who bought the rest. He passed from covid and was vaccinated.
Steve passed away in August. I had a deal to buy 2 cars but this guy would not honor the deal.

I saw a video on fb this morning where they were loading up several Z28s and LS6 chevelles. Not in the greatest of shape but how rusty can an Oklahoma car get?

I spoke to Jim about the cars that Steve promised Sean. Jim said he received a phone call from Sean when he was in Oklahoma with 9 workers moving 47 cars, 55 rear ends, over 100 engines. He was in the process of loading two semi car haulers and four semi box trucks. He did not mean any disrespect and said he was pre-occupied and should not have taken the phone call. He did talk with Steve’s widow and she was not aware of any deal. He also went through all of Steve’s paperwork and there was no mention of a pre-existing deal. Sean, if you have any written agreement on the two cars, Jim would be happy to discuss it with you.
Jim, is not on this site, I am just trying to clarify the situation and help Sean and Jim out.

Thanks for clarifying some of the misinformation that was posted. This site is not a forum to bash people. If Sean had a deal he should have dealt with the estate. Close to 6 months passed and for whatever reason Sean was unable to convince the family to sell him the cars. That has nothing to do with the person/s who purchased the collection.
I will be removing personal attacks against the purchaser.

Hi, I am Peter Rose, its my YouTube video that has been posted. My YouTube channel is digitalpizza.
The man who owned the collection died in August of Covid. Very sad.
Brings home the fact that this disease needs to be taken seriously.
I don't want to be the one to share the identity of who or where it was to protect the privacy of his family.
I did not know him personally, but his family and the people who live in the area are wonderful people and my heart breaks for them.
I feel lucky to have been part of the story of preserving his dream and passion for these cars.

I watched the video, unbelievable. I used to by parts from hbc in the early 90’s, man he has quite a stash.
Was there an auction where a lot of this stuff was sold ?
Welcome Peter.
Thanks for taking the time to make this Video.

I sure would have like to be there when they first open all the doors. It would have been a dream come true. Got to give Mr. Steve C all the credit for his vision and saving all of this. God bless him.
... That is a great find ...
... and a monumental undertaking to get all that organized... but it's a great find !
