Wow, Ute's have evolved a lot. Interesting vehicle.

Appears to be a LHD, which makes me wonder... I thought all Oz cars were RHD... was it converted? I didn't bother to read the auction.

Which reminds me of a weekend I spent in Melbourne about ten years ago, I'd been walking downtown for about 5 minutes since leaving the hotel and about just an hour in the Country at that point... saw a place to grab a snack with a funny name and thought I'd just run across the street... got a big scare! All I can say, it look RIGHT, then left when down under. I just picked up my hat and carried on. Later I felt shook up ;)

Also, I heard several Corvettes downtown, but every time I looked, I saw one of these...

Cheers all,
Anthony

I agree - but take a look at the prices for nice Pontiac G8 GXP's or the more current Chevrolet SS Sports Sedan's on the market now - which this is based on.

Utes in the USA are quite rare, and LHD is a bonus. I don't know if it sells for that much but I'm sure some folks are thinking about it.

When i first opened that thought it read 2600.00, and thought that seems about right. Then i saw the decimal point had moved to the left, and your post all of a sudden made infintely more sense!

Check writer. Bought a rusty, worn out truck and paid an expensive shop to do all the work. Probably has 30k in it and expects to get it back. :rolleyes2:
