I had no idea these were so scarce, but according to the seller this is one of 68 340/4-sp coupes built. Neat car with interesting 1970s paint....

1970's tires, too. As I recall, the notchbacks were not nearly as popular as the fastbacks.

----Arlen Vanke was given a 68 notch back 383/4-speed Cuda and a stock 440 by Chrysler. They wanted him to switch to the 440 and do tests with it. I saw it run at 42 but can't remember if it had trips or 4-barrel. He was told to keep the car and he ended up selling it to a kid. The kids 1st time down the strip he popped the 440. Never saw the car again!.....Bill S

i'm not a Mopar guy but I always thought those cars looked cool. Even in the past would hardly see one on the roads.

But this is the only body style I would own. Not a fastback guy.
I REALLY like this, but need to stay focused on what I already have... which sucks, because I don't have any control over my "want" meter...

I was thinking that too, Tony, but look at what the 2 '70 Cuda skeletons you posted are bringing. If the '69 really is as rare as the seller claimed, born with drivetrain and a driver, I guess it wasn't so unreasonable. I really liked it, but need to work on what I have. I hope it doesn't turn up in a week at 30k...:rolleyes2:
