Digging through my old photos and found this. Feb, 1973 at the New York Coliseum Car Show, A major snow storm kept the cars that were supposed to be in the display from arriving. I was asked if I wanted to move my car into the spot. Couldn't say yes fast enough. Pretty exciting for a 22 year old kid at the time. And yet, I never kept any of the fliers that were handed out.

Car shows must attract snow storms like trailer parks attract tornados.

I have many memories of slogging down to the Detroit custom auto show at Cobo during a blizzard.

----Everything of Sal's that I have ever seen is immaculate. Just guessing but I'll bet he still has his old Suburban and I never saw a speck of dirt on it!.....Bill S

No connection with them other than as I said in the OP. Their cars couldn't make it so promoters substituted mine for their already set up display. And yes, I still have it. I.ve been it's only owner.

Put that car in a mall with 1,000 cars, put up a drone and that car would jump out like the griswalds house on Christmas vacation.

NicKey Chevrolet the car dealership closed at the end of 1973, but the Owners and Hi-Performance team were getting geared up to open the NicKey Performance Shop. Kool photo car and info. Thanks for sharing.

I don’t recall those wheel covers for 1967, but for sure 1968.
