View Full Version : Can someone identify the year and model of this old Ford truck?
It was my grandfather’s. My brother has the same initials and if I could find one I might replicate this for him. Thanks.

St. Paul, eh ? Both side grandparents were in St. Paul.
As for the truck, look at forties F1's. They didn't change a lot and you may not need the exact year to get one that looks similar. The grill would probably be a better identifier, if you have a pic of that. The side of the hood may be year specific too ?
Looking at pics online, 1941 to 1947 all seem to have the same hood side.

Even a Door only lettered up the same would be a cool wall hanger.

Yes. All my grandparents and parents are from there, and Brainerd. Grandpa worked on the Cyclone Motorcycle effort in St Paul in the 19teens. That lead to manufacturing machine shop after WW1 and a gear company after that.
Side note, my Dad told me last night that he drove that truck when he got his Chauffer's license. It was dark green. He was thrilled to see the pic I found.
