Dave,
That is the antique place in downtown Greenville. He is a master at finding estates and buying them.

Why does that car call my name so much???
I can see it painted up as a Barrie Pool/John Elliot/Lance Hill (I know he is all Chevy) Border Bandits Bad Ass MF drag car!!
And a 4 speed, for heavens sakes!!!

This old photo of a family photo showed up in my FB memories today :-)
After my Cutlass and VW, a Lil Red Express, then a Pinto?
Ryan W31
Sherri's first car was a Pinto. You know how some folks have a real soft spot for their first car? She told me if I bring home a Pinto, it's all over. One of us is moving out.

I watched a very good documentary on Sam Little, the most prolific serial killer in U.S. history, he drove a brown Pinto Wagon exactly like this one, with wood paneling on the sides, in which many of his victims met their demise:eek2:. I now get chills every time I see one....so I'm out :frown:

Hmmm….yeah, ya know, Kelly has been amazingly understandable on my classic clunker catastrophes, but I don’t think she’d even stand for this coming home.
Des, I think Ted Buddy had one too.

I think you're right on Bundy. Did they have the exploding gas tank issue fixed up by '73? Or was that mostly a two-door hatchback issue?

Ok it seems the Wagons were not included in the recall:

That was actually a young woman who left her gas cap off after a fill-up, stopped on the roadside to put it back on and was rear-ended by a van doing about 60. Gas shot out of the open filler and ka-boom, the exploding Pinto legend was born.

Maybe that Pinto was a really good deal after all. Just came across this one tonight with a $7500 ask...wow:
