Ding ding ding - you guessed it...it's a 4-door sedan...and it's green on green!
Neat car, but $23k still buys you some optionality these days and I suspect there are few folks out there who would settle for a green 307-powered 4-door at that price. Nevertheless, a pretty sweet preservation piece.

I have a gold rubber mat but it going in a local Black 300 Deluxe L78, M22 KK restoration.

PS: A friend of mine bought a blue/blue sister to this 4 door while we were in high school and crashed it all up the first weekend he owned it, we made it look as reasonable as we could by chaining the bent bumpers to bollards and carefully jolting them back “straight”

At least it's not the usual orange colored "CAUTION-FAN" sticker  And WTH kind of a muffler is that with a corrugated outer shell????
That is a true zero option car.

That's a neat car. Did they offer an inline 6 that year, that even more bare bones.

Yes, they did offer an inline 6 cyl, but it was classified as a different model number. Per the Trim Tag, the subject car is a model# 13469; a 6 cyl would have been model# 13369. So, the 307 V8 is not an option, it's the base engine for model# 13469.

The V8 is about the only extra cost option on that car.
I hadn't looked at all the pics before. The spare tire/wheel is neat to see, having never been mounted. Still paint in the lug holes...:cool2:
AND a build sheet... I had to laugh when I read *** customer order. I can imagine no dealer would order this for stock and hope someone bought it.
My goodness the number of pics and the write up. A person would think this is a super rare and highly sought after collector car. It's very rare to see, yes and the condition is crazy clean and original, but 23k ?????

Our local RCMP detachment had 4 of these 72 Malibu 4 doors with the 9C1 police package. They had 350 4bbl and the F41 suspension. All unmarked cars, and one in this Color.

My guess is that a reasonable offer would be in the $15K neighborhood.
