I pulled a fiberglass mold from the bottom of an original and pulled a relief and bonded it to the bottom of std WIX oil filter.
I have not finished it off as of yet.

Yes sir... I have a sticker from PARTS PLACE which is the red and blue print... however I am planning on doing the black ac logo like was on the 1100 mile 70 Z28 Charlie had.

With a quick coat of white paint...
At about 2 hours plus materials... $350 oil filter. lol

Wonder why someone hasn't molded a plastic sleeve that would slip over and snap onto a parts store filter and have the look of an original.. :hmmm:
I do have a 3D printer here at work..... Too bad the 3D plastic wouldn't take the heat but glass filled nylon might hold up..

It's the GM licensing at 2500 per year plus 10% of applicable sales which is the hold up on such a low volume item. Really how large is the market?
Perhaps few thousand if they were under $20?
