Is there a registry I can check. I located a complete orphaned 69 z28 motor and matching vin M21 transmission. V0529 DZ assembly date. I have the vin number and don't want to go public with it yet. Can anyone direct me to check the vin. I will say the car was sold many years ago from the south west Pennsylvania area. Thanks.

The VIN is how they are listed. CRG has a list also....Joe

Second CRG. You can search by vin.

Problem is VERY few orphaned CARS are listed. It is almost ALL engines and transmissions.
So it isn't likely you will get a hit.

Have you tried a general Google search of the vin? Never know.

I Google searched the vin. Nothing showed up. I couldn't find a way into the CRG to search the 69 registry. I'm going to post it here. This is the partial stamped on the trans. 19N662454

I did a search at CRG for that derivative. Nothing popped up.

Are you OK with me posting that number in the orphan section with a link to this thread?

I'm ok with it. If the car is still out there. I can put him in touch with the owner.
