Both tags have been off the car. Would like to see the block pad with the paint removed. Seller has refused.
Proceed with caution.

Totally agree. The TT is crooked on the firewall, and those rivets are suspect.

When RK Motors sold the car:
"While this isn't the original DZ 302 that came in the car, it is an original 1969 Z/28 DZ 302."

Nice looking car with a few gaffes in the resto.
Apparently it has been admitted that the bock is a restamp.
Noticed this comment by "StinigRayBilly" posted June 1 @ 7:59 pm.
"as an fyi, it is illegal to remove/replace a trim tag in 23 states in the USA, it is akin to removing/replacing a vin tag."
Have I been asleep since 2007. Oklahoma outlawed trim tag swapping in 07. I am not aware of any other state that followed suit. Would be interested to know.

There was some confusion on trim tag and vin tag. Some of those posters should not say anything! It was funny when the one guy commented on people that won't bid and he was called out for the same thing. I see him post on everything I watch.
