I am embarking on a little side project among everything else that is going on in the shop as of late.
I bought this fuel injected, 2 top, 62 Corvette, T-10 4 speed. The car has what looks to me it's original short block. Correctly dated T10 transmission (non original) and it's original positraction rear end housing (currently a non numbers 3.36 center section). The car retains it's original body panels, nice rust free frame, and most all original interior.
The car ran when I got it, not not well. I sent the F.I. unit out to find the spill valve was the major culprit of it's issues. I'll be doing some cleaning, light detailing, tuning, etc. I'll bomb this around for a while yet this summer as I am Covetteless at the moment (and not doing well with it:no:)

The 66 went to Texas. A fellow who saw the car called me and asked all the right questions. And like a fool.........
The 65 went to a mutual friend of mine and Tim G's.
I'm keeping tabs on both:grin:

And the most important question was, "will you take $$$$$ and Tim's cash register when CA-CHING...
You have first rights on them ???
I was wondering how you financed 5 new vehicles..:cool2:

That's a very pretty car, Tim. I wanted to see the yellow '65 when I was at Road America in July, but Steve didn't bring it up to the races. He put some crappy Ferrari in the Saturday Concourse instead of the '65 Corvette.

Thanks Tim. I think this car will really turn out nice when it's done. BTW, that 67 will be on the way here:grin:
Steve and the 65........hear about the battery deal?:hmmm:

----Love it, Tim! I had a twin to it years ago when parts were cheap and made it into a 400hp. Almost sold it to Joe Hrudka, but he bought my 69 L89 El Camino instead.....Bill S
Tim, the green car looks great.

Now that I have the 67, I'll get a thread going on that. Perhaps I have confused a few of you as many think I have a Goodwood Green 67 coupe already.
I did, kind of..........
That was the car the my Dad bought in 1974. After years of persistence, he finally sold it to me when I turned 50. Then shortly thereafter, Tracey and I moved to our home in Northern Wisconsin. My Dad had me looking for a specific car he had in mind and the search was not turning up very much. He continued to broaden what he would take. Then one afternoon when we were knocking out a case of beer, I told him he was basically describing his green 67. So I asked......."you want it back?" He jumped at the opportunity.
Selling the car provided a void for me as well. Growing up, that car was solely responsible for my passion for cars. I've had a few others since then, but it was not the same.
So. fast forward to the last month. I found the pictured 67 in Colorado. I purchased the car from the 2nd owner (who had it since 1982). The car finally got delivered this past week. My first order of business was to look for a tank sticker (I was told it was there). Frankly, I have not been this giddy about a car in a loooong time. It just feels right. Here is the sticker.......

So now back to the 62. I am in the process of finishing that up. The tach needed to be repaired, and recently I got the dash pulled to take care of that. The car runs and drives PHENOMINAL! Might be the best straight axle I've driven to date. But, I cannot keep them all. After getting the HM Camaro back (thank you again Paul), I can only have a few personal cars.
Today it's raining pitchforks and hammer handles, so no decent pics today. I'll get them posted up here in the next week as I get the car ready to market.
Here is a couple of quick pics as it sits in the shop this morning......
