1962 Chevy project. Too many zeros on this one.

62 bubbletops always seem to be priced crazy high.

One of the most iconic Chevrolets of the ‘60’s in what many consider the best color combo of Black-on-Red.

The feeling the customer got when they bought that car in 1962 is the same feeling I would get if I bought it and restored it back to its original awesome beauty. Of course I’d have over $100,000 into it with an all aluminum big block,5 speed, and air conditioning.

Took a front hit, mainly on the left. Door is jammed back against the pillar and bent on the leading edge. Gonna need a frame pull before anything else, and then a cowl A pillar pull.

Cool car, but as mentioned too high.

It isn't like it is a 409 four speed car.

You’d have all eyes on you if that car was restored and rumbled through the cruise meets.

Not everyone is a bubble top fan. I prefer the iconic hardtop.

The curvy bubbletop is damn sexy.

Shoulda, coulda, but didn’t….had a chance to buy a running, driving ‘62 Bubble Top 6cyl. in about 1975 or so for $150.00. Almost as bad as passing on a ‘57 Nomad w/o engine & trans. in same time frame for $75.00. Both were relatively rust free cars and Nomad needed a piece of curved side glass. My family had so many cars come and go that those were no big deal. I had a friend GIVE me a ‘57 Bel Air 2dr hardtop when I was 15 (1973)…another running, driving 6cyl. I sold it to a buddy who I’m still real good friends with for $50.00. Best part of the story is we’re both 15, broke but gearheads…he paid me $47.00 in $5.00 bills and $1.00 and 6 rolls of pennies!!!
