I have purchased a few of these springs. They're weak and won't put it back to idle. I've shortened them and still have the same problem. I can't imagine others haven't experienced the same issue. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Least I know I'm not alone. Thx for the reply.

I experienced the same issue. What options are out there?

That should be a lot better. A lot more springs

I would have thought that a 427 would have had 2 springs on the carb … I guess it probably didn’t matter much because in Nhra & most drag racing have a rule 2 return springs on the carb …

That will work, but that spring is for a 68 model year, 302 Z28, 396/427 GM#3923501.

I ended up extending the two springs and interlaced them together. That arrangement worked.

I thought about doing that too. How'd it look? Could you see that it was two springs? Another idea is just to have one custom made..probably not hard to match that color. Thanks for thefeedback.
