wondering if this was a production mount or when in production it started? I've never seen these in person - also any info on the bolt and spacer would be appreciated

That bracket is on upc Z28, sheet A4 in the AIM. It looks like it was drawn 8/2/1969. My 8/28/1969 had that same system even though it's a 396. Mounting bolts to the block are a thread or so longer on the driver side...Joe

THX X66 I saw that Heartbeat offers repro brackets for SB and BB but not the correct mounts, the longer mount bolts is understandable but I was curious about the long through bolt and spacer, washers any chance you can post some pics up? I'd love if anyone has dimensions available of spacer - length of through bolt OD of washer and thickness ect
I'm also going to look back through the legends manual

I cheated a little because I didn't want to spend 1,500.00 plus on original mounts. A copo, i would've. You have to put a bevel on one edge of the mount where it meets that bracket. I got the bolt from Rich who used to sell hdw here. I might have to take mine out to replace a freeze plug. Here's a picture of that I did. Real pieces are hard to find...Joe

X66 that's good stuff is it in the car now? I get you on the $1500 mount thing. I have seen Rich selling on FB he even has his own page for this stuff but most is Corvette stuff I'll look through my junk first and see what I may have rat holed

That's in my car now, yes. I was comparing hdw between small block & big block. It seems to me that all the pieces were different. I'll have to go back & look. I also remember looking for the part numbers in AMK before I contacted Rich. I'll see if I can do some digging for sizes of hdw. I'm reaally surprised that somebody else hasn't chimed in about this system. If Warren was still with us (RIP), he would've been all over this....Joe
BTW, I have a repop of that bracket for a small block if you need it. HBC sent it by mistake & didn't want it returned

I have also reached out to Lloyd Edgemont as he was looking I'm pretty sure he has located it by now

Mike (rszmjt) is your best source for the measurements on those second design mounts as I have the first design (and they're now installed on the car).
Lloyd.

Thanks Lloyd! Im going to ask your unanswered question here from the CRG thread
1. Length of the through bolt
2. Diameter and thickness of the flat washer (it appears to be extra thick)
3. Inside and outside diameters of the bright sleeve that passes through the motor mount stop bracket (best view is the first photo)
my car is a Sept 69 built car

OK, I found them , had to dig through quite a few big totes as they were in storage, sorry for the delay.
Thick washer - 1.380 OD
- .187 thick
Spacer - .875 OD
- .565 thick
Through bolt is - 4.450 bolt length underhead to tip
TR head marking with 6 slashes.
Hope that helps.
Cheers. Mike
