Heading out to the Sumernite Cruise this is the last one of the season and F Body weekend. Beautiful fall day here in the Bluegrass State supposed to be in the mid 70’s today.
I dig the Torque Thrust on the ole hot rod, they look good on any car.
Have a good day all.

Few pics of Sumernite Cruise. My car on the left then Bill’s and Mark’s. We live within a mile of each other. A photo of a portion of the F bodies. Around 3 o’clock they said 900 plus cars in attendance. My grandsons pick of the Camaros.
Just my quess there was around 300 F Body cars came out today.

Yea he sat with us for couple hours bench racing. Donna’s health is not good, call him and talk to him.
He told me a story I’d never heard about him buying a 63 Plymouth 426 Max Wedge Lightweight from a woman for 900 bucks around 1965. Put a set of headers n slicks on it and went to Somerset drag strip. He beat Lewis Jones 64 Thunderbolt by 3 car lengths. Lewis was mad as hell that a Plymouth beat him.
Quite a guy!! He’s 82 years old.

Thanks for the pics. Where exactly in KY is this?

Thanks Joe.
The cruise is in Somerset, Ky.. Google search Sumernite Cruise, they have a nice website. This year they raffled off a car and a pickup truck both were nice rides. A local trailer manufacturer always donates an enclosed 24 ft car hauler that’s raffled off.
I’m entree # 824 and they around 37,000 plus signed in entrees since it started I think in 2002.
The city and local businesses are in support of it. It brings in a lot of business for them. Quite common to see cars from Michigan, PA, Florida etc.

Thanks Richard. We spend a month or two outside Ashland, KY, and occasionally go down to Campbellsville to visit family, so maybe I'll try to make one of those cruise nights next summer. They look pretty awesome.

I know people in Campbellsville, just 45 minutes from me. I grew up in Russell Springs.
