Part number 14044871 - see last photo for the description from the Chevrolet speed equipment buyer's guide ca 1988. This is a genuine factory Heavy Duty / HiPo speed part.
"HD off-road electronic HEI, magnetic-impulse type. Comes with Tuftrided shaft and concentrically ground advance cam with reinforced weight pins, locked-out vacuum advance, no tach drive. Uses standard cap and rotor."
If you want an HEI distributor, BUT with the old school points - type look; this IS IT! This thing is in perfect condition, as shown.
