Silver Blue w/Blue & White interior, 289ci V8 with EFI, 3-spd. automatic transmission.

The one that started it all! The original "Pony Car"! When the Mustang Coupe was introduced at the New York World's Fair in '64, it caused a sensation.in the automotive world that pretty much remains to this day. But when the Convertible version came along, all bets were off! The lines of the first-generation Mustang were and still are classically beautiful from every angle! And if you add in the terrific and reliable performance of the venerable 289ci V8, you had a package that was hard to beat!

The '65 Convertible presented here has had a complete rotisserie restoration about 5 years ago and features a 289 backed up by a 3-spd. automatic. The color of Silver Blue looks great and complements the car perfectly! Options include, recently installed electronic fuel injection, power front disc brakes, custom Mustang-style aluminum wheels wrapped in B.F.G. radial tires, power steering, wood-rimmed steering wheel, power top, pony interior, upgraded AM/FM radio, console and custom interior lighting. This is a great driver and the perfect cruise mobile! Spring is just around the corner . . .

$49500
