Airplane? Do you need a pilot? I could do double-work: restore your projects then fly you to all those exotic places and let you pay for it!

That’s beautiful. Reminds me of the a cherry Blossoms in DC without all the political garbage.:rolleyes2:

Cheers

If I start eating right and exercising I might live long enough to get my investment back. At this rate it is not going to happen.

Do you have enough bees to pollinate Charley or do you truck the hives in?Good luck with this year's crop!

Charley Lillard
03-03-2023, 05:14 PM
A local Company brings hives in for pollination. Costs several thousand each year.

They certainly seem busy.

I am minutes away from finishing up our 10 boxes and 100 frames for this year.

We'll be in trouble if the bees keep dying at the rate that they are.

I have seen where the shakers have a net that opens up and catches the nuts. Suprized they let them go on the ground

@ the 2:57 mark of Vid 2,he says they want to let them dry out on the ground for awhile first.

Yep saw that. What I remember is the machine catches them and then dumps them on large tables where they dry and are separated. No doubt there is a reason for their methods.

Beautiful place Charlie.

I flew into SAC today from Spokane and had a nice view of the Swollen Sacramento River. You guys sure have the water right now. These photos are from just west of the river and airport.

Nice crop Charley, but it's hardly the first time you've been surrounded by nuts!

Woj. That is the bypass. They open weir's on the river and dump the excess water into it to prevent the river from overflowing.
