I was chatting over FB with an uncle who was really into Chevy muscle cars back in the day, and he mentioned he had been 2nd owner of a 1968 L78 Camaro, he said it was green and I've since sent him the paint codes to see if he could figure out what it was. I showed him pics of green 68's and he's pretty sure it was British Rally Green.. Black vinyl top. He added 4.56 gears.

First owner: Doctor
Second owner: Nicky D (Carney's Pt area, NJ)

I'll keep asking him for more info.

***Edited color to British Rally Green.

I had the photos posted here several years ago. Maybe you'll have a better result searching here for "Flemington Cruise Night" ?

BINGO! I have spoken to this guy before and he has owned this car for many decades, here in NJ. Those blue license plates are from the 1970's. I took these photos in July, 2006.

That car appears to be British Green and it has the RS equipment as well. Not a match to the one at the top of the page which has standard grille and no style trim chrome.

He traded the car into a Chevy Dealer, I ask him which one and the year.

I talked to Nicky today and he said the car was British Rally Green.

British Green and Rallye Green are two completely different greens in 1968 and are named separately.

British racing green is probably what he said.

Yes.

I think if someone has a car like this and they know it was purchased used from a Chevy dealer in the 70's it could be this car.
