Hi Gang, rare find here.
This is an original 1971 slogan USA-1 plate; the last of these gold embossed plates.
It's genuine based on the patina, it being heavy gauge steel, (slight rusting on bottom corner as shown & it's magnetic) and the small / narrow bolt hole slots. The back is painted white and seems original to me.
I have not attempted to clean it at all; it may clean up a bit with some care.
