That's terrible. Society is not in a good place right now. No respect for live, others or their own. Just sad.

Gratiot was my old stomping grounds with lots of good memories. Sad to see something that is to be a cool and fun event be tarnished by morons!

Thats not the Norm here. The is not THE Gratiot Cruise. Just a Social Media viral meet up...
THE actual Gratiot cruise and certainly the Woodward cruise have been fine for many years. At least until some Khaki Pant FBI Informants infiltrate the action...:eek2:

That is not a car show, 90* are SUV’s, a few hooptys.
Nothing good can happen in that scenario

Crush spent alot of Thursday Friday and Saturday nights cruising Gratiot as a young man and around midnight we would head down to the street races. Great great memories!

Remember "French Road". Lots of under the radar stuff going on down there.
For the West Siders they would do the Telegraph Road thing.
Even Mark Knopfler (Dire Straits) wrote a song "Telegraph Road" on the 1982 Album "Love over Gold"...Lots of Cruising History in Detroit for sure. I was lucky enough to grow up at 13 mile and Woodward.
