I was considering that too,as I was looking at older CRT TV & Stereo bookcase entertainment cabinets sold during the 1980'-90's in a secondhand store recently.
Their backing was covered in this stuff.

The vinyl was glued to the metal & the devider just sat on the hooks....Joe

Joe, agree with you 100%, but this is how this one was found. So it was restored to same.

Doc, My contact at REM Mfg in PA wrote me......................

"We actually made that for him (Doc)! That piece is obviously die cut. We specially printed that board one side black one side tan. The only thing “Doc” did was draw the yellow lines and markings."

I am a REM Dealer and can sell that Divider to anyone at a lower cost than the BIG online sites
