Someone (with more space and more energy than me) please save this thing!!

Even has cruise control. Shoulder belts are about the only option I don't see!

Great rig to tow your yenko or l88 corvette to a show.

Now you went and done it, Jeff. I love these cars. I had one in the mid 70's, but it was a MN car and there wasn't much left of it then. Buckets, console and gauge package, but 283/pg.

Looks like a solid car and big potential. Small fix on the pass lower front fender, hood rust spot and top of car. . A car you do a complete detail, buff original paint, full carpet wash and detail interior, undercarriage, engine compartment. New shocks, brakes, possibly brake lines, tuneup, exhaust. Leave it as much as original as possible IMO. Find the correct wheels for it.

I also had one in the 70's, also red/red buckets, no BVT, 327/4 speed, tach and gauges, am/fm with the console lid stereo.

Very careful, selective photography, but if you look closely, I believe both quarters have the bottom 1-2" of metal missing behind the tires and both front fenders need the usual patches in the dog legs. Both doors seem to have some daylight thru the bottom rear corners too. The roof is a crap shoot as it appears he did some bodywork at the seam lines after removing the vinyl top, and why is there duct tape on the rear window ? There is more going on with this than the seller is admitting, or allowing to be seen openly. A buyer needs to have eyes wide open and see this in person.

----Wonder what color the V-roof was??? I could make an argument for finding a low mileage 66 Caprice with low options and making 1 car out of 2 as I love heavily optioned 66 Chevy's. If one was to try to find all these options you would have way more than the cost of this Caprice.....Bill S

After having had a few 1966 Full size Chevys in my life, I would bet that the floors are gone, the cowl shoulders are rotted through, and the truck floor and package shelf is as well. As some of you might remember I had a White / Black Bucket / A/C 1966 SS-396 TH-400 Coupe project and a trailer full of NOS sheet metal and parts that I couldn't give away back in 2017.
It even had a 1978 GM XAA LS-6 crate engine in it! Bill

Are those Multiplex stereo control knobs on the console lid?

Are those Multiplex stereo control knobs on the console lid?

Yes. On a 66 big car with console and gauges the multiplex reverted to that location, since there was no room for it under the dash.
