Sad to hear. We dodged a bullet most recently with Milan Dragway which is closest to Detroit and most surrounding suburbs. The previous ownership had taken a loan from reality TV pawn shop owner Les Gold and defaulted. I think other circumstances led to them getting in money trouble as well. The property went up for auction and was saved by the new owner who’s made many improvements so far.

I feel bad when tracks close but I'm also a business person, if the sale price is compelling I totally get it.

I hope someone buys all the timing equipment and builds a new track. The only NJ track left is Island.
