All you SYC golfers will like this...my Karen just won the NYS Golf Association Senior Championship, held at the Whiteface Club in Lake Placid. She was 4 shots behind the first day and came back to win by one!!

She is heading out to the Tuscarora Golf Club near Syracuse this week for the qualifier for the nationals. If she makes the cut then it is off to Scottsdale at the end of September...

Karen arrived in Scottsdale yesterday along with a number of her friends who are playing in the event. This is the USGA Senior Women's Amateur championship which is being held at the The Troon Country Club...some joint :biggthumpup:

There will be 2 days of practice followed by 2 days of stroke play to determine the final 64 players. Then it is match play to the finish.
