Unreal to watch that as it happened live. Will always remember where I was. Sad day

I live in a 55+ community and of the 48 homes on my street (granted, 50 - 60% of them are vacant this time of year), I'm the only one with the flag flying :(

Thoughts/prayers for the families/loved ones of those lost that day, every day must be hard enough but the actual date each year even tougher yet.
Thank you to the Firemen/Rescuers/First Responders who gave their everything saving others also not to be forgotten, the heroic passengers/crew of Flight 93 who overcame their attackers/crash landing the plane before it could be used for more destruction.:flag:
:worship:

My wife's boss Kathy Bantis died in the North Tower, she was about one of 295 people who worked for Marsh & McClennan who perished that day. her name is carved into the memorial. For years my wife would cry when she saw 9-11 coverage on TV. They were close.
My friend and fellow racer Rob Farley was a first responder, a police officer. He has long term health issues, lung damage from the stuff in the air.
When I visited the memorial about 5 years ago it was a somber moment for all of us, but especially for my wife. She found her picture on a wall.
