Is a 3043 carb a one year / one body style only carb? My cousin has one just sitting on a shelf in his garage. He didn’t know what it was for and I recognized the number but couldn’t initially come up with application until I did a little research.

According to Colvin's book...1965 327/350hp Chevelle.
His notes mention the DG suffix....
I don't see it listed for any other applications.

Isn't this also for a 1966 Chevy II with a L-79 327/350 HP car as well? With a 572 build date, it would be perfect for an early 1966 car. Bill

The 66 L79 Nova used a #3245 carb...
Regarding the build date...I found this story you folks have probably seen before. Car was a late July build according to the article.
