I think the John Berlage stuff is this:

https://www.opgi.com/trunk-panels-accessories/trunk-accessories/trunk-spatter-paint/paint-trunk-graywhite-quart-ch26946.html

shoot a black epoxy primer down first. I used a pressure fed paint gun from Harbor Freight. Just looked and its not there anymore. Its like htis one:

There are several threads on this forum about the trunk spatter paint.

John Burlage does not sell to individuals anymore, so you would need to get it thru a distributor. Looks like it's still out of stock at OPGI and most places I checked. A couple months ago, I tried to buy the Parts Place paint and couldn't get any of that either. I ended up calling Camaros Plus, in CO and got a quart of his paint for my '67.
He recommended and I bought a spatter gun by PMT on Amazon. It has an adjustable nozzle to spray the base coat and then open it up to replicate the spatter.

^^ Very Cool Vid.
It worked
Thanks for posting.

I think a Guy could get "better results" from a lot of practice, but this really was better than the thin spray bomb rattle can coating I had, it was course (Rough) and very very fine (Aqua).
I could not achieve the 1968-(LOS) VN F-body Stringy, but this will work.
Nice D-I-Y attempt that is an improvement over spray cans

I really like the More Dark Charcoal base rather than a pure black.
