I noticed in the item description they mention VIN numbers under the rear seat and driver dashboard bracket - never heard of that before. Mis-statement or am I about to learn something new again?
Jim

The VIN on the dash, on top of the cowl, behind the heater box, under the rear passenger seat, driver-side dashboard bracket, etc. have all been confirmed & verified.

Only two con VIN stamps on the body structure; top of cowl and firewall next to the blower motor duct. There is a date stamping on the steering column/pedal mount that should align with the build date of the car.

Odd, no mention the original body tag was lost during the restoration.

Ok, well, still earned something....did not know to look for the date code on the column brace.
