I am interested in this '67 GTO. Unfortunately its for sale by a dealer. Is anyone familiar with this dealer and his rep? Also, if this is local to anyone on the forum that can put eyes on it I would be most appreciative. Of course before buying I would go see it as well. I'm in Raleigh NC so the location is not that far out of it for me. Here's the listing : https://www.ebay.com/itm/285583736264?hash=item427e1dfdc8:g:g-8AAOSwlqtlZ6wU&amdata=enc%3AAQAIAAAAwMgamKmwMhnlz7Ntxte0hm8t9uCwl xFPJYlJcXcW%2F%2FyP%2FX%2FnVTTr%2BXzSP9EhDf1dME%2F iTlLRzUtvKys0aO4C%2Be0ovPXyWmFyWjvMKX8ri6P7pO5c6%2 F7IscuVLit4f%2BdLyKx4l3oDpYKv%2Bw2h1%2Bw6sVoSwttqE NMGNEcXO5gnuIEAYydWWM%2BgAYfkBvRg5VBaH8rCQXRtCtkwL jmqjGpQPWIzpsdJZmHxBVHAXNs%2Fn%2FbaROWTQlTLEDkzz1k Rgy674w%3D%3D%7Ctkp%3ABk9SR9K5yeiGYw

----This GTO resides just south of Akron Ohio. Not all that close to you, but there are several members here that are close. Hopefully, someone can take a look. I don't know the dealer, Sorry.....Bill S

I see the listing has ended. Hopefully you were able to work a deal. Nice GTO.

Yes, I talked with Rick/owner of Sabettaclassics and after lengthy discussion put $500 on the car so he pulled the ebay listing. The prior owner had it for 30 years and did a 'to the metal' restoration off a solid car in 2011. All original panels, floors etc.. I intend to see it 'in the flesh' next week. I am also, talking to him about buying my '69 Camaro which will have to go to make room for this one.

so the deal is done. I bought the GTO and they bought my Camaro. Pretty much an exchange of funds, other than the $900 it will cost to get it transported to my home in Raleigh and whatever the state of NC is going to charge for registering it here. Should arrive on Monday. Looking at the empty space in the garage brings some sadness. Kind of like loosing a girlfriend. Weird huh?

Weird huh?
Nope, not at all. I'm sure many of us have had the same feeling. It'll go away once the GTO arrives :)
