Apparently supposed to be a $40K bid...

So, the guy buys a original engine Z/28 in 2013 and then has the engine rebuilt and decked in 2015?
That seems like a tactical error.

I wondered about why in the world they decked that block and lost the numbers.

You would be surprised what is being written by AI - artificial intelligence. Products like ChatGPT are writing everything from resumes, equipment manuals, and fiction/non-fiction.

Those idiots at BAT...and they won't change any of their wording. When I listed my 67 Camaro they changed my wording calling the car "frame-off restored" to "refurbished". I told them that no one calls a car "Refurbished" and they said that I was free to make my comments on the listing once it went live.

If the pad stamping was decked and removed why does it have a deep stamping lathered in paint now? Unless thats a previous picture of the stamping? :dunno:
The tank straps should be black without the goofy rubber insulators.

I believe the descriptions are now written by AI. There is also a "brand standard" that includes their terminology. "Refurbished" is one of those words, as is "15″ turbine-style wheels" for 63-66 Corvette KO wheels. This was explained to me when I started selling with them in 2018. The descriptions don't carry much weight--you are buying off the pictures and commentary from the seller and peanut gallery.
