I'm wondering if you guys think it's a COPO?
If everything pictured is as represented and if it all came on this car, then yes.

Lots of talk on Facebook about it being a X66 car and not one of the original 50 that Don ordered. They are saying it's a fake.

Not enough info. Axle stamp? COPO carrier? Original block? 2 sets of frame mounts in the pictures?
That fb link doesn't work for me.

FB link still works for me.
I'm no expert but those extra parts are great but someone could have bought those to sell with the car....

Never say never.
There are X22 and X66 COPOs made for other dealers before Don Yenko got his first 50. There are probably some early COPOs that have that have been judged to be fake Just because they are not on Yenkos list

A pic of the ZL2 hole and some ownership history/vintage photos would help the cause.

There were early built 9561 COPO's prior to Yenkos. If you know of any such cars send them our way. The Registry welcomes all Copo cars that have been vaildated with provenance including documentation, history, certification and specific components and build dates.

Axle date is BE1119G1. Hmmm. Some good hints, but deserves a detailed inspection...
Correct carrier? That's the hard to find part.

In the comments someone said that a guy named Gene owned the car out East, and raced it at Englishtown and Island.
Kurt the housing could be correct but the seller could have just bought date correct parts right.
One of you knowledgeable folks should call up the guy. :)

BE axles were generally built in batches. Is this a "known" date ? BE axle date is BE1119G1
