One of my favorite 'trucks' - the '65 L-79 El Camino.
Tough to beat the 350hp engine with a bench and 4-speed.

The metal areas inside do not look like fawn ought to look in my opinion but still a very nice looking ride.

Where is the money shot of the "matching numbers" block stamp?? or the trans stamp, or axle stamp?? Or any documentation at all that this is a real L79??
Engine description conveniently leaves out mention of block stamp. Is it a Muncie trans??
No pix of the underside at all?? Judging by the ho-hum level of restoration details it may not be stellar?
If it is real, The "Guesstimate" of 129 built is low IMO. ECL codes suggest 723 '67 L79 El Camino's built, with fewer L79 engines (4,048) in all '67 Chevelle body styles than in '65.
I hope it is real, it is a cool Elc that would benefit from at least a proper set of wheels and tires.
(A '66 "Knee Knocker" tach under the dash??, it's supposed to be in the dash cluster :rolleyes2:)

Pic of the engine pad in the BAT listing. Lots of undercarriage shots as well.
Gotta say, this shot makes me think the paint and body work looks much better in pics than in person. I could be wrong of course.

----Bill,,,It seems that azcamaros has answered some of your questions, but raised several more. I agree that many of the interior colors are just flat out wrong. Rubber floor mat for one, carpet color If it even had carpet is too light. Kick panels and pretty much the whole dash are off color wise. That deluxe seat cover wouldn't have come in a 65 El C if ordered with the standard interior, and probably would have been two-tone anyway. I would like the car a whole lot more with the added stuff if the added stuff was done correctly!....Bill S

No expert on these cars, but rivets on VIN look different than I am used to seeing. On the cowl tag, they look more correct, but almost brand new. Block stamp is not exactly the cleanest looking either, maybe some ghost stamped letters? (but I have no clue what correct stamps on these cars would look like).
