Good grief !! how much does it cost to have 600 pictures taken ?? How many do they need of each wheel ?? Way overboard.
Too bad someone felt the need to attach fake hood pins and add the rear spoiler. Left seat has a plastic back, etc. many details not original. I love Marina Blue and it's a beautiful car, but I would rather have seen it before it got fluffed.

Plastic seat backs are correct on a late production '67.

Never heard that before, Jon... Might explain why the right one is steel... built during stock run down.

My '66 Chevelle, built in early May, had 1 '66 door and an early '67 on the other side.. LOL

I’ve always heard the early 67’s had metal backs and later built cars had plastic. My car is 06A and it has plastic backs.

Yes...
Around here, we always went by the '67's having metal... never knew any different.

My '67 is 02C with metal.

Based on the comments, bidder number two tried to bid $121K but it didn't take. Seems like pretty strong money, but really cool car!

Nope. But it does give me a bit of a benchmark as to what the market may think of my car. Day 2 style cars don't appeal to as many people as a stocker.

Imagine what it would've sold for if he posted more pictures.

If you are referring to your '68 Camaro, that car should bring twice what the auction car brought.
This forum is rather unique in that the preference is for originality. You are immersed in that with your Corvette campaigns too, but there are many people who appreciate and want a well built day 2 car.

That car should have sold for a lot more. George’s blue on blue on blue l78 vert sold for $250,000 and the bat car sold for 247,000. Timing, economy play a lot into it. I think the blue car was sold higher than expected.
