Looking forward to the Camaro Nationals. We have 70 Z28 30k miles, a 67 rs/ss L35 with 19k miles and a 79 Z28 with 25k and perhaps another car.
The 67rs/ss L35 is still owned by original owner and believe this may achieve both Vintage Time Capsule and Legend Survivor -Platinum.

Beautiful car, Lloyd, with the detail you put into it, you deserve every award you get.
BUT, I don't recall ever having seen a silver firewall and I'm certain it is correct, or you wouldn't have done it, but at what time during production were they painted that color ??

Thanks, I was contemplating the color and wasn't sure. It must be a Z thing, cause I don't recall seeing stripe matched firewalls before either. But then, I'm not familiar with the way of '69 Z's at all.

Thanks Mitch, the (white) paint on the firewall is stripe color overspray from the under-cowl paint operation which was done so the stripe color was visible with the cowl panel installed when viewed through the vents. Sometimes the firewall received some overspray color which was the case on my car.
