It looks like I will be deleting my account with them after I got this "update" notice today. The result of this will be the loss of all the images I have uploaded to all forums over the past 10 years or so.
May as well delete my Camaro restoration thread on here.

Updated information about the rights you grant us, including the right to the extent permitted by the laws of your region, to license or sell your Public User Uploaded Content to third parties for the scanning and processing of your Public User Uploaded Content, including extracting physical features, e.g. measurements, of your Biometric Information, solely for the purpose of artificial intelligence and machine learning training and the subsequent uses derived therefrom.

Users are supposed to let them license or sell OUR pictures/information and we get nothing ???

I want nothing to do with advancing the training of AI.
AND collecting biometrics ?? WTH, are they now part of the government who needs to know everything about everyone ??

Biometrics are body measurements and calculations related to human characteristics. Biometric authentication is used in computer science as a form of identification and access control. It is also used to identify individuals in groups that are under surveillance. Wikipedia (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Biometrics)

I stopped using web sights to hold my pictures many years ago. I upload directly from my computer.

I am not smart enough to know how to get the size where it needs to be for most sites to do that. Guess I'll be on a learning curve for that now.

Mitch and others, this site now hosts pictures you upload/post. My understanding is the pictures will not be deleted even if providers such as Photobucket are canceled. I will speak to the site programmer and verify, but the goal was to safeguard your pictures.

That would be very cool, Steve, thanks. In the past, most forums just used the links to open the pics.
As an aside, I do have 90% of the same pics posted from photobucket saved on my computer. That would be a lot of time spent to try to re-post them in the correct order, but doable.

I have been using Dropbox (cloud) for both photos (213,664) and all my documents for many years and it has been trouble free. I pay a nominal fee but can access it from any device with my sign on and password. I have had two computer meltdowns in the last several years and if not for Dropbox I would have lost everything.
