I hunt for cool pictures online, if anyone has more they’d like to add I’d love to see them. I love seeing photos of these cars when they were just old used cars and hot rods.
You’ll notice I like wing cars and Corvettes built as race cars lol.

Couple more I have saved. I love that Corvette and hope it’s in a barn somewhere with that paint job still on it.

Love 70's Street Machines, and there is a great page on Tumblr that I've wasted a few hours going through their massive selection of pictures:

Also, there are a couple great Facebook 70's Street Machine pages that have a ton of pictures as well.

Pretty cool that we had so many Hemi Cars in Sweden once upon a time. Hemi Cuda, Hemi Challenger, Hemi Charger.
In this small town where I live, there was a Hemi Cuda that was sold to England in the 80s. Which later ended up in Australia (New Zealand), then back to England and now its back in Sweden. Plum Crazy, white roof, Rubber Bumper

I saw this Camaro when I was 10 years old and it was her fault that I became Camaro addicted.

Killer Mouse was a Z/28 JL8 when she came to Sweden and went as Race Car Roadrace from day one. In 1972 she had a Penske 5000 engine

Sometimes I wish I was born in the 60’s so I could’ve grown up with how muscle cars were back in the day. Awesome pictures!!

You have no idea what you missed. Back in the late 60's and early 70's I took muscle cars for granted because they were everywhere. I can remember sitting on the corner of my residential neighborhood in a lawn chair on a Friday night just to watch all the muscle cars heading out to their local cruises and hearing the dragsters in the distance at North Star Dragstrip. Those were the days.

Only sometimes?

Here's some stories about growing up in a GM family in the Flint/Detroit area in the 60's and 70's (if you are interested):

Sometimes I wish I was born in the 60’s so I could’ve grown up with how muscle cars were back in the day. Awesome pictures!! I was born on '58 so growing up in 60's and 70's was an awesome experience and wouldn't have wanted it any other way. My son was born in '90 and he says the very same thing as you. He has a '69 RS Camaro and a '66 Impala.

The street scene was an everyday occurrence, drive, race, park, repeat. As SS427 stated we took it for granted and didn't realize we were a part of the greatest era of all time for car guys! My wife has said many times, she wished she had a time machine to back to that era.
