I have what I believe is a USED, GM/OEM No Notch 12 Bolt Cover.........
I cant see any stampings or ID markings
Someone suggested it was a truck cover.........
What do I have and what is it correct for ?????

That is not a truck cover. It's a Chevy car 12 bolt cover.

68- 69 Chevelle for starters.

No conclusions yet..............Is there a list somewhere that states all the different 12 bolt diffs that had a NO Notch Cover.......like my above pics ????

I think the 12 bolt covers with the notch are correct for 1970

How is the truck cover different?
Completely different shape.

Early assembled 1970 Chevelles received the no notch cover.Later + assemblies got the newly designed brake line clip "notch".

The car 12 bolt wasn't used until '65. '64 had the 8.2 10 bolt, but axle splines in '64 were a little different from '65 and later.

No, that is just a shape representative cover from a full size passenger car.

This rear was taken out of one of her 68 converts in 1974.
I put it back in after adding a 67 dated posi unit.
The cover is not notched.
Same as the other 68- 69 Chevelles here.
Second pic is the car.
She is second owner of it also.
