Searching the web for old day 2 photos for custom paintwork ideas I’ve found quite a few vettes of different generations that were either race cars or street freaks. Anyone know if any of these survived the decades of concourse restoration and kept the old paintwork?
Anyone with other photos feel free to post them. It’s funny, I’m not a big Corvette guy, but for some reason Corvettes done like this do.

Hot Rod Magazine had an annual Vette issue with cars like these. Some were amazing and I still have those magazines.

That’s hilarious because the first one is my favorite of the group. They’re all cool in their own right though.

1st picture, "GRUMP LUMP" on a C2 looks like a '67 STINGER hood on steroids..... I like it.

If you look in the background of that photo there’s a black C2 with another grump lump on it. Must’ve been the look of this area back then.

I stumbled upon this while scrolling FB. Thought I would share. He obviously knows how to paint old school. Might be worth making friends with for tips and tricks during your paint process.
